I believe it is safe to say, this is the featured maple tree on the three mile drive. I was very lucky to get this shot for two reasons: The weather was spectacular, with clear skies and calm winds. Being a Thursday, I was virtually alone. Come Friday and Saturday, not only had the weather turned a bit, the wonderful colors had already started to fade in the short time since this image was taken. Also, the isolation of the previous day was no longer available!
